Control (...)

You have enough control over Spellfire to perform delicate tasks requiring the release of less than an entire level of energy. You produce and manipulate silvery-blue flames of Spellfire in the following ways:

  • You can control how much heat the Spellfire radiates as well as how hot it burns. From low enough to thaw food rather than cook it, or hot enough to boil most metals. Unless this effect is used, this abilities' Spellfire produces no heat. (Metals that cannot be melted include, but are not limited to carbon steel, chromium, platinum, mithril, adamantine and enchanted metals.)
  • You can control the amount of light the flame gives off, from almost invisible, to a bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20-feet.
  • You can use your Spellfire to ignite flammable objects or extinguish non-magical flames within a 5-foot cube.
  • You can deftly manipulate the shape of the Spellfire to create images such as the form of creatures, inanimate objects, and/or a location—to appear within the flames and animate as you like. Examples include animating along with a story being told, bluffing a Spellfire ability, have several shapes float around you and anything else within reason, at the DM's discretion.

You cannot have more than one instance of this ability active at a time, but you can have up to two effects active at one time that have been chosen before using this ability.

Other than the potential heat produced or the risk of catching something on fire, the fire this ability produces is harmless.

Flare Charge: This ability cannot be charged.
