A strong wind (10 miles per hour) blows around you in a 30-foot radius and picks up any moves with you, remaining centered on you. This storm lasts for the spell’s duration. Environmental debris (e.g. sand, dust, snow, water) are picked up and carried by the winds, concealing those inside the storm. 

The storm has the following effects:

  • Without the presence of appropriate environmental debris, this spell instead behaves as a 30ft "Warding Winds" spell.
  • Creatures trying to see those within the storm, must make a DC 15 Perception check to be able to make out shapes and figures.
  • It deafens you and other creatures in its area.
  • Creatures other than you without eye protection have disadvantage on all attacks and Perception (sight) checks within the storm.
  • It extinguishes unprotected flames in its area that are torch-sized or smaller.
  • It hedges out vapor, gas, and fog that can be dispersed by strong wind.
  • The area is difficult terrain for creatures other than you.
  • The attack rolls of ranged weapon attacks have disadvantage if the attacks pass in or out of the wind.
