You spit a loathesome curse at a creature within range, affecting them in one of the following ways of your choice:
The creature takes 1d12 damage however the DM see's fit over the course of the next hour as small, seemingly unconnected things go wrong around them due to bad luck. (Things like tripping painfully, accidentally touching a hot or burning object, cutting themselves on a weapon or tool, being hit by stray debris, etc.)
The creature subtracts 1 from all saves, checks, and attacks for the next hour.
The creature's tongue swells in an unseemly manner, forcing them to make a charisma save whenever they attempt to speak clearly or cast a spell with a verbal component, being unable to do so for the next round on a failure. This effect ends on either a successful save, or after an hour.
If the caster is killed during the duration of this spell, it is recast on the target every eight hours for 1d4 days. A creature can only be affected by one casting of this spell at a time.
