You place a magical barrier of protection over yourself for the duration. While this spell affects yourself, you take 4 less damage from oncoming weapon attacks, to a minimum of 1. In addition, you gain a plus 2 to saving throws against physical effects.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage is reduced by 2 less damage for each slot above 1st, and gain a plus 1 to saving throws against magical effects.
