Chanting words of power and firmly grasping a dragon scale plied with a reptile's shed skin, you transform your arm into the head of a dragon.
(The scale you hold determines the type of Dragon.)
(Special Note: A Sorcerer class character with the Draconic Bloodline origin may choose to for go components and use their Draconic Ancestry for the Dragon's type and damage.)
The head has no mind of it's own and controlled by you.
You transform your arm into a Dragon's head. The scale held while casting determines it's type. Example; Red scale equals a Red Dragon head.
For the duration of the spell you gain the following actions with your hand which you are proficient with.
A bite attack which uses your Strength or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher, and a breath weapon attack which uses your primary ability score modifier.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: (proficiency+ Str or Dex) to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d10 + (Str or Dex modifier) piercing damage plus 1d4 (Dragon's type) damage.
Breath Weapon (Recharge 5–6). The dragon arm exhales (Dragon's type damage) in a 30ft line or 15ft cone depending on the dragon's type. Each creature in that area must make a DC (8+proficiency+ primary ability score modifier) Dexterity or Constitution saving throw depending on the dragon's type, taking 6d6 (Dragon's type) damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the Bite damage adds an additional 1d4 (Dragon's type damage) and the Breath Weapon increases by 1d6 (Dragon's type damage) for each slot level above 6th.
