When an individual learns Beast Eyes, they have the ability to perceive the vision of an animal which is friendly towards them. The extrasensory perception acts like a "sixth sense" to masters of the spell. Most rangers have an bond with creatures, animals such as these are treated as friendly and are always willing. Creatures that are hostile to the caster are unwilling and make a spell saving throw with +15. Creatures which are neutral to the caster, e.i a far away dog or bird which the caster has not met count as unwilling and must make a spell saving throw to resist Beast Eyes.

When the caster is level 10 or higher the hostile creatures only gets +12 on their saving throw.
