This spell does not consume a spell slot.
You create a skeletal, dragon head below a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the creature to attempt to have the skull consume them. On a hit, the target takes 2d10 plus your spellcasting ability modifier in necrotic damage. Until dispelled, the skull will attempt to consume the target at the start of each of your turns dealing damage to them.
To cast this spell you must roll a d10. Whatever you roll becomes the amount of hit points you loose.
If casting this spell would kill you, it does, but the spell will go through anyway without a way to dispel it short of a wish spell.
This spell's damage increases by 2d10 when cast at higher levels for each level higher than 1st.
This spell's recoil increases by 1d10 when cast at higher levels for each level higher than 1st.
