Create a wall of mist up to 30ft tall X 30 ft thick X 120 ft long. The mist wall is heavily obscured and any ranged attacks made through it have disadvantage. If cold damage passes through the wall that 5 ft section of wall loses 5 ft of thickness and shoots ice shards doing 3d6 cold damage in a 10ft cone on the other side of the wall on a failed save, half as much on a successful save. If fire damage passes through the wall it becomes steam and that 10ft cube of the wall does 2d6 fire damage to any occupants of the wall.

 You may expend a 1st level spell slot to allow one character of your choice to see through the mist.

Any wood, paper, or cloth in the wall becomes uncomfortably damp.

add 1d6 for both fire and ice damage for each spell level above 3rd
