Air Forge

This spell can only be cast as a ritual by a follower of Forge, The Obsidian Artisan. You create a stone pillar roughly 5 feet tall with a basin at the top. The air around the basin is heated to the great temperatures of a forge. You can place metal in that area and soften it just as a real forge would. The metal can then be worked appropriately. Only items placed in the heated area by the caster are affected; the heat doesn’t affect anything else, and it can’t be felt by living creatures. This spell, along with a portable anvil, greatly lessens the difficulty for a craftsman repairing or creating equipment in the field. Magical items created cannot be greater than rare magical items.
