Using the remains of a deceased person or creature, you can peer into the past and view their final moments. You project a life-like, translucent illusion of the individual which reenacts the last minute of that creature's life, repeating for the spell's duration or it is dispelled.

This magic can also reveal more information under the proper conditions. If this spell is cast in the location where the creature had died, the divinatory illusion includes vague images of any objects and people/creatures within 5 feet of the individual at the time. These images are very basic representations that lack detail, however, if an object or affect of a nearby creature (such as a murder weapon, scrap of robes, blood, etc.) is used in casting the spell the item/creature can now be visualized in full detail.

* - (a magnifying glass, leather glove, and the remains of a person or creature)
