Apergía tou Día

This is the ultimate lighting spell but also the most difficult to cast. Its a manually trap Evocation Magic that is place before hand, meaning it works well if defending. The spell's name comes from the Greek word Απεργία του Δία meaning Strike of Zeus. The spell is a 10-17 feet long and wide(depending on the size of the rune)giant lightning Stream that stay's there for as long as you can hold it and constantly fry's the opponent. The way to draw the rune is have a type of flying or levitation magic and write a symbol similar to a triangle with two letter Z's face on the outside of each other in the middle of the air facing the ground. If the spell isn't between 10-17 feet in length and width the spell will be rendered useless and you wasted unnecessary mana/magoi/magic. This can also be used as a cannon of some type but is only a one time use so you would be able to obliterate castle's and fortresses. The spell ignore's half of any-lightning resistant's and you would have to have basically a 9/8th level magical shield to even withstand even 3 second's. Trust me we tested this out, poor baret his magic was just to weak, may his soul rest in peace if the lighting didn't reach his soul too. Keep in mind though in the new version 1 second drains 8 total health from the caster, so be sure to be prepared.
