This was a spell created by Bacile, a human magic researcher without the ability to cast spells himself. He joined Bralhir, a Half-Elf mage in his journey to revolutionize magic, and even created a few spells together with the Abjuration mage. This spell was created purely by Bacile alone, although he invented it Bralhir was the one to make a few tweaks to it to make it work. In the end, Bralhir took credit for the spell with the allowance of Bacile as Bacile was only there to research how magic worked, not to take the credit. This spell is used by more powerful adventuring spellcasters that wish to have a more reliable way of dispelling spells, as the normal Dispel magic is greatly inferior when it comes to magic trap dispelling.

Choose one or multiple traps within range (Maximum 5 traps). Any magical trap created with a 5th or lower spell on the target ends upon making the magic gestures and saying the words. To dispel the trap, you must have knowledge of the spell used to create the tr, ap, and if you don't already you must first identify the spell. When you use this spell you have advantage on the arcana check needed to identify the trap and you must roll. When you have no knowledge of the spell you need to succeed a DC 20 check using whatever your spellcasting modifier is and on a success, the DM can roll to see if you succeed in dispelling it or not, once identified you only need to succeed a DC 8 roll or no roll at all if you know what the spells verbal and somatic components are.
