Void Shell

An ominous purple sphere expands from a point you choose within range and then bellows out a low roar. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point is deafened while inside the sphere and movement within the sphere is considered difficult terrain. When a creature enters the sphere's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 12d8 + 40 force damage and is paralyzed, or half as much damage on a successful one. At the end of the spells duration, any creature inside the sphere must make a Wisdom Saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 12d8 + 40 force damage and is banished to a harmless demiplane, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The target is disintegrated if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points. A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of fine gray dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell. While in the demiplane, the target is incapacitated. The target remains there for 1 minute, at which point the target reappears in the space it left or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied.

At the end of the spells duration, the spell automatically disintegrates all nonmagical objects and materials or a creation of magical force inside the sphere.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level or higher, the base damage increases by 3d8 for each slot level above 8th and the radius of the sphere increases by 5 feet.
