You extend your hand and trace a sigil of warding in the air. The first time you take bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage, you have resistance against bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Alternatively you can cast it without concentration with duration of 1 round and give yourself resistance against every time you take bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage.
