A blast of gelatinous fire erupts from your hands. Each creature in a 60-foot cone must make a Constitution saving throw. Each creature immediately takes 8d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures failing the save are covered with intensely hot flaming gel that causes 2d8 additional fire damage and ignites any flammable equipment it wears, carries, or contacts for 1d6 additional rounds. All surfaces within the cone are likewise coated with flaming gel, and any creature entering or ending its turn in the area during the same 1d6 rounds must make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d8 fire damage.
A creature killed by this spell is reduced to ashes.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the cone size increases by 10' for each slot level above 6th.
