Select the corpse of a creature with blood. On cast, a 15ft circle of bloody snow appears. Bloody snow is difficult terrain. So long as this spell is active, every creature which begins or ends their turn in bloody snow must make a Constitution saving throw. On fail, they take 2d6 cold damage, taking half as much on a success. If a creature both begins and ends its turn in bloody snow, the second saving throw inflicts an additional 2d6 necrotic damage on fail, and none on a success. If a creature suffers the necrotic damage of bloody snow, it is poisoned for as long as it has bloody snow in its sight, as the horrific sight and memory of it nauseate them. This does not apply to constructs or skeletons.
When concentration or duration of this spell ends, the bloody snow becomes regular snow, remaining as difficult terrain but losing all other effects.
When you cast this spell at 3rd level or higher, the sphere's radius increases by 5ft per spell level.
