Black spirits of wrath appear, hungry for a meal. Their favourite ? Irredeemable people who harm innocents for their own enjoyment and continue to do so. Allies in this field are unaffected.
1st round: Targets must make DC 20 wisdom saving throws or be stunned and take 5d10 psychic damage. Half damage on a success and they are not stunned. They can make saving throws at the end of their turns.
2nd round: Targets must make the same saving throw at disadvantage if they can see or hear their allies dying. Damage increases to to 8d10.
3rd round onwards: Damage increases by 3d10 every round and the all damage is doubled if they are stunned.
You can use lower level spell slots to keep this spell up, each level of spell slot increases the damage by 1d10, however when all the targets die, the caster must make a DC 20 saving throw of your choice to remain at 1 hitpoint and take 2 levels of exhaustion. If the caster fails this saving throw, the caster dies.
