This spell summons malevolent powers which can cause seemingly normal accidents to occur.

The exact nature of the accident is for the DM to reveal, based on what the targeted creature is busy with and what’s happening around it. This spell becomes dangerous when circumstance and environment come into play - stumbling over your own feet might be embarassing, doing so while walking down stairs can have some pretty negative impact on your health.


Depending on the situation, the targeted creature can either roll a Wisdom (Perception) check or a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, contested by a spellcasting ability check, to avoid a negative outcome. All modifiers apply.


A creature can be subject to the effect of an accident spell only once a day, resetting at dawn. Creatures with the "Lucky" feat or similar effects are immune to this spell.
