You use the triggering attack as a distraction, launching an elemental ball of energy in the shape of a fist towards the target at an unexpected angle. If the creature that you hit is within range, make a melee spell attack against it. You have advantage on this attack unless the target has special senses or a feature that prevents advantage on attack rolls from invisible, unseen, or hidden creatures (e.g. Blindsight, Truesight, See Invisibility, Alert). On a hit, the target takes 2d10 damage. The damage type is acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison (your choice when you cast the spell).

At Higher Levels:
When you cast this spell at 2nd level or higher, it deals an additional 1d10 damage for each slot level above 1st.
