Choose a nonmagical statue within range. The target animates and becomes a creature under your control until the spell ends or until reduced to 0 hit points. If the spell ends as a result of you falling unconscious, the statue goes berserk and attacks creatures randomly until destroyed. Otherwise, it simply becomes inanimate.
As a bonus action, you can issue a mental command to the statue, which it follows as long as it remains within 500 feet of you. You can decide exactly where it moves and what action it takes, or you can issue a general command, such as “guard this chamber” or “go through that door and attack anything that moves”. If you issue no commands, the statue only defends itself against hostile creatures.
Each statue has 18 Str, 10 Dex, 16 Con, and 3 Int, Wis, and Cha. Its movement, AC, hit points, attack bonus, and damage die vary according to the table below.
