You magically move your seed crystal to a point you can see or otherwise know where it starts within range and imbue the crystal with your energy. The crystal can then grow instantaneously into an up to 60ft*20ft wall or a 20ft radius sphere / hemisphere 5ft thick.
The wall is translucent, (can be seen through but any has disadvantage on any roles to hit something outside). Nothing which cannot pass through solid glass can pass through it. The caster can also choose which side of the wall is the target side (inside or outside for sphere or hemisphere).
Anything inside the wall is sent to the target side
The wall has 2d20 hit points. It is weak to piercing damage and resists lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, and radiant. Its AC is your spell save DC
Upon the wall falling to 0 hit points, it shatters. Crystals shoot towards the target face of the wall. it goes 10ft in that direction and on a failed Dexterity saving throw does 5d8 piercing damage. Half on a succeeded throw.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 2d8 and the hit points increases by 1d20 for each slot level above 4th.
