The threads of fate are often elusive and ever-changing. Apsii identified that while the ever-fluid movement of the threads of fate caused by free will cause such elusiveness, by glimpsing upon the great loom of fate, one may gain insight into the specific threads. A glowing third eye manifests in the caster’s head. The caster chooses to gains one of the following benefits:
- You can inquire upon a course of actions and the DM will give you insight as to the most likely outcomes of the actions drawing upon all knowledge known and unknown to the player. The spell doesn’t take into account any possible circumstances that might change the outcome, such as the casting of additional spells or the loss or gain of a companion.
- You can glimpse at a future failure and choose to undo one ability check or attack roll you roll within the next minute. You may then choose a different course of action that requires a different ability check or attack roll. The third eye remains on the forehead until this use is expended.
If you cast the spell two or more times before completing your next long rest, there is an additional 25 percent chance for each casting after the first that you fail.
