In addition, those within 10 feet of you who make an attack against you are lashed with necrotic tentacles, dealing 2d8 necrotic damage and healing you for half the damage done.

At Higher Levels: Every spell slot consumed above 4th level adds an additional 1d8 necrotic damage.
