Claws of the Reaper

Black, ichorous portals form around the target, driving spectral talons through them like grasping claws. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 3d8 psychic damage and is frightened of the caster for 1 round.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 damage and the foe is feared for 1 additional round for each slot above first.
