You become a god/goddess. This process is irreversible, and consists of sacrificing 10,000 gp, 3 sheep (killed with the dagger), an arcane focus and the object that represents what you want to be the god/goddess of on an alter and shouting up into the sky “I wish to be a god/goddess (whichever gender you are) of (what you wish to be they god/goddess of). Once the spell is over, you are unable to be damaged, you don’t have to sleep, you don’t spend spell slots to cast spells, you don’t need any materials to cast spells, and you can essentially do whatever you want. You can also be the patron god/goddess of a village, and they can make offerings to you.

Posted Mar 31, 2021yea lol, there's only one canon one but yes homebrew can go up to level 12 or beyond that though it's not recommended because of balance, I mean going beyond 12th level btw.

Posted Mar 13, 2023Look up Karsus's avatar (i.e. Karsus's Folly). When they talk about balance, they mean that this 12th level spell (and its circumstances) caused magic to cease to function long enough for most of an empire to be destroyed and the goddess of magic, herself, to have to sacrifice and reincarnate herself. So yeah.... balance. lol!
