You create a small, flying helicopter to command at your will. On your turn, as a bonus action, you can shift your vision to the vision of the helicopter. This lasts until you dispel it as a bonus action on a different turn, and can't see anything from your eyes while using the helicopters vision. On your turn as an action you can order it to either: Distract the enemy, move through a small space, or attack. When attacking, the helicopter fires 3 small missiles, aimed at either the same or different targets. Each missile deals 2d4 force damage + spellcasting modifier. When not used, the helicopter flies idly in the air until used again. The helicopter disappears when it dies or if dispelled. It's health is set as a base of 8 health, and an enemy cannot attack any player if attacking the helicopter. You cannot summon more than one helicopter at a time. If anyone else within 25 feet creates an attack helicopter, the two attack helicopters will begin fighting against the casters will, thinking that they are enemies. When attacking, the target must make a Constitution saving throw, of the casters spell save DC.
At higher levels:
At any level higher than 4, the number of missiles increases. So, at level 5 there are 4 missiles, level 6 there are 5 missiles, so on and so forth. Additionally, at any level higher than 4, the health of the helicopter increases by 2, maxing out at 15.

Posted Mar 4, 2021I like this version more! But there are a few things that confuse me.
1. Why, if there are other helicopters, do they suddenly begin revolting against the ones that summoned them? Is it just that they are territorial constructs (are they constructs? Elementals? Creatures?) and the sight of another helicopter takes precedence over everything else and they spend their time attacking each other? Or are they war-obsessed things (they are ATTACK helicopters after all) that once there is more than one, they can't control their bloodlust and attack indiscriminately?
2. The Helicopter has health, but does it have an armor class? If I'm attacking the helicopter, what do I need to do in order to hit it? Also, why is it when I attack the helicopter, I can only spend the rest of my turn attacking the helicopter? At least, that's how I understand "an enemy cannot attack any player if attacking the helicopter." Does the Helicopter do some sort of taunt that affects enemies like "Compelled Duel"? Because if the helicopter can force enemies to attack it and only it, I feel that is pretty powerful, and you may up the damage/health to make it a higher-level spell.
3. How large is the helicopter? You can order it to squeeze through a small space, so are you creating a small little Air-Hogs toy-sized helicopter? Or is it a full Apache Attack Helicopter? I ask mainly for the instance of, I summoned this before battle started, is it small/quiet enough to allow me to set up an ambush? Or is it so large that summoning it would give away that something is up?
4. The range is sight. No distance, just sight. So, if I grabbed a pair of binoculars or a spyglass, could I cast this spell miles away? If I cast "Scry", could I not summon this helicopter upon the location I'm scrying on and then shift my sight through the helicopter to follow my target without requiring a saving throw or concentration that "Scry" would?
5. Speaking of creative uses for this spell, since I am summoning an attack helicopter, which is a vehicle, could any players ride on or in it? Could they grab the bottom landing gear and hang on tight as it flew them up to a higher place? What is the flying speed of the helicopter? Since I can move it in combat, it would be nice to know how far it moves. At this point, it seems this spell needs an associated stat block of the thing you're summoning.
I would love to summon an attack helicopter and I love this idea. I'm just trying to ask questions I think players would ask or try to pull with this homebrew. I hope it helps!
