Accelerated Attunement

This spell allows the caster to instantly attune to or unattune from a magical item.

As an action you pass your hand over a magic item in your possession and utter an incantation which immediately binds the magic item to you. This spell only removes the need to focus on the item for a short rest, all other requirements to attune to the item remain in place. If the caster does not meet the requirements to properly attune to the item the spell fails and the spell slot is spent.

Accelerated Attunement can also be used to unattune from an item, so long as you are able to do so. Certain cursed items may resist the effect of this spell.
