Comedic Standoff

Bring out your inner demons and make them laugh! Target one creature within 15 ft from you and command them to make jokes with you, thusly distracting them from doing anything else besides joking. No roll to hit is needed, the target must make a 12 CHA saving throw or be in the Standoff, if they save, the DM will ask the caster for a gambling roll if the target is angered by the attempt or turned friends for 1 turn. They then are stuck in the Standoff for 2d4 rounds or until death.

During the standoff, each round the target must make a DC 18 CHA saving throw or take 1d8 psychotic damage. The same goes for the caster.

Damage scales an additional 1d8 on levels 11, 15, 18, and 20.
