A creature you target within range must succeed on a wisdom saving throw. On a fail, the target falls under the influence of one of the effects, for the duration of the spell or until dispelled. Upon casting the spell you must decide which effect takes affect on the target's mind.

The effects are as follows.

  • Anger  or Calm .
  • Joy  or Sorrow .
  • Depression  or Hope .
  • Fear  or Entrance .

The DM determines how the target behaves. As the spell changes the targets state of mind, the target gets an advantage on the wisdom save if the target already has the feeling opposite to the one you impose, excluding "Calm". When the spell ends, The target reverts back to it's previous state of mind and knows that it was under a spell.
