Battlemage Armor

Until the spell ends, a protective magical force emanating from the torc worn as a material component surrounds you, as well as your familiar or mount if you choose. Your base AC becomes 14 + your spellcasting ability modifier. This same benefit applies to your familiar or a mount. The spell ends if the target dons armor or if you dismiss the spell as an action, but you may still benefit from wielding a shield while the spell is active.

While the spell is active the torc cannot be removed from you nor can it be targeted by spells or other effects.

The protection granted by this spell cannot be dispelled, but a Disintegrate spell ends the effect on that target without harming the creature.
