Zin-Carla reanimates a corpse, the corpse must be present. The caster must make an ability check using their spellcasting ability against the creatures CR or Level. The DC equals the creatures CR or Level + 5. A female drow has advantage on this role. The corpse then comes to life with its old spirit but the spirit has no control over the body. The body is driven and controlled by a single purpose that was given to it by the caster during it's reanimation. The body retains all its former abilities and remains set on completing its mission in this zombie like faze. Nothing can deter it including spells. The spirit is held captive by its body until the mission is completed or until 7 days pass and the body deteriorates.
