You make a framing gesture with your hands and say the command word, and your hands emit a burst of bright light. Any creatures other than you within 5 feet that can see must make a Constitution saving throw or be blinded for one round.
This spell then conjures a Small or smaller portrait of the scene in front of you, from your viewpoint, at the exact dimensions of your gesture. This portrait, made of canvas and oil paints, lasts indefinitely, but can be destroyed by spells like Dispel Magic unless stretched into a wooden frame.
This spell also allows you to see invisible creatures that are within the portrait's frame at the time of the spell's casting. They appear as faint, translucent outlines, which disappear after 1 hour, or until the portrait is placed into a frame.
