Damage/Effect
When Luck of Thorbir is cast on a person it causes what would be normally a successful attack to instead fail in a spectacular fashion. Only by rolling a natural 20 twice will the effect be dispelled before the spell normally expires. The caster can use either pieces of broken dice to have an effect on attacks, or a torn playing card to have an effect on an ability check. (As part of casting the ability check must be named). The effect will last for the next 10 minutes. There is no saving throw. For every level cast over level 2, an additional minute of extremely poor luck will be visited upon the target.

I love this so ******* much
Thank you. Will Wheaton was the inspiration for this particular spell. He has what is known as the Wheaton dice curse that had no reasonable explanation. At least with this spell...he now has a reason the dice show him such disfavor. After watching Critical Role where he was a guest, I felt inspired. This was the result.
