Bound Lightning

After having formed a physical connection between you and your target, you touch the object connecting the both of you. A strong electrical current runs through the bond. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 lightning damage and be stunned for the duration. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make another Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends on the target.

The spell requires a continous connection. Trying to use this spell with a single sword strike will cause it to fail.
