The mind of a creature you can see becomes enchanted by visions of regret, and blinded until the beginning of its next turn. If the target leaves the range of this spell, it ends early. The spell has no effect if the target is a construct, or if it doesn't have a visual sense of sight.
Each time after the target begins an action that would affect another creature, then the target must make a Wisdom saving throw or take 3d6 psychic damage and become blinded until the start of its next turn. The target of this spell can choose to lose the action or continue while blinded.
Until the spell ends, you can use a bonus action on your turn to impose disadvantage on the creature's next saving throw caused by this spell. As an action, the creature can make a Wisdom check against your spell save DC to shake off the emotion and end this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage dealt increases by 1d6 for each slot.
