Cloaking Field

You mask an area within range beneath layers of illusory effects. The area is a cube that can be as small as 10 feet to as large as 10 miles on each side.

When you cast the spell, you decide what sort of illusions the spell provides, and you can specify creatures as friends who are able to see through these illusions. You can also specify a password that, when spoken aloud, makes the speaker able to see through these illusions. Choose any or all of the following illusions, and for each illusion, choose whether the that illusion affects the perception of creatures inside the area, creatures outside the area, or all creatures inside and outside the area:

• Sound can't be heard within the area, as if the area were affected by a silence spell.
• Bright light in the area becomes dim light, and dim light in the area becomes darkness.
• The area is shrouded in thick fog and is heavily obscured.
• Creatures have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks while in the area.
• Creatures in the area are invisible.
• Manufactured structures and objects in the area are invisible.
• Illusory creatures of your choosing roam the area but do not interact with other creatures or objects.
• Creatures of a certain type are made to look, sound, and smell like another type of creature. For example, beasts could be made to look like constructs, humanoids could be made to look like humans, or undead could be made to look like living creatures.
• Writing in the area is made to appear in a different language or illegible. You can choose certain languages to include in or exclude from this illusion.

You can cast this spell again on the same spot to change the illusions of the area or to end the spell in that area. Casting this spell on the same spot every day for a year makes this effect permanent, and the material components are consumed on the last casting..
