Aura of shadows

Dark tendrils from the Demiplane of Shadows emanates from you, creating an aura of shadow around you. 

For the duration of the spell, an area emanating from you is filled with magical shadows, creating an effect equal to dim light. The effect persists no matter the brightness or darkness around you. You choose the size of the area, with a maximum range of a radius of 15 ft. and the shadows spreads around corners if you choose. Nonmagical light can't illuminate the shadows and nonmagical darkness can't fill them.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3nd level or higher, you can choose an additional creature to be covered in shadow, for each slot level above 2nd.

If any of this spell's area overlaps with an area of light created by a spell of 2nd level or lower, the spell that created the light is dispelled.
If any of this spell's area overlaps with an area of darkness created by a spell of 2nd level or lower, the spell that created the darkness is dispelled.
