You summon a tentacle of water in a 10-foot square within range. The area of the spell is difficult terrain for any creature that does not have a swimming speed. If the tentacle is subject to cold damage from a spell of equal level or higher it is frozen solid.
When summoned the tentacle can strike out against two different creatures you can see within 20 feet of the tentacle. Make a melee spell attack against each creature. On a hit a creature takes 3d10 bludgeoning damage and if the creature is large or smaller you can either knock it prone or push it 10 feet in a horizontal direction. A huge or larger creature must instead succeed on a strength saving throw against your spell save DC to resist this effect.
On your subsequent turns you can use your bonus action to make an additional attack against a creature within 20 feet of the tentacle.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 4th.
