Take forceful control over the blood of a target within range. The target you choose must make a Constitution saving throw or have their blood contorted to your will. If they fail the saving throw, you must expend 9 sorcery points or 5 Blood Magic Points (see Transfused Body Sorcerer). When you cast this spell, and as an action on each of your turns afterwards, you can designate an action for the creature to make, which it must make to the best of its ability. As a bonus action, you can contort the victim's blood, causing an unavoidable 6d10 necrotic damage. This damage cannot be reduced in any way. On their turn, an affected creature must make a contested Strength check against your Spellcasting Ability check or be unable to move; if they succeed, their movement is reduced by half. Affected creatures may make an additional Constitution saving throw at the end of their turn, ending the effect on a success. Creatures lacking blood, such as constructs, or certain undead, are immune to this spell.
At higher levels. Casting this spell using a spell slot of 7th or higher allows you to target one additional creature per slot level over 6th.
