You create an auditory and visual effect that specifically targets one creature within range. Only the target creature can see and hear the effect. The effect circles the target continuously for the duration making an appropriate sound in an attempt to distract the target. For example, you may create a barking dog or a swarm of screeching bats.
The targeted creature has disadvantage on all Attack rolls and Ability checks for the duration of the spell.
If a creature uses its action to examine the effect, the creature can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusion for what it is, the effect ends.
The illusion also ends if you dismiss it as an action or cast this spell again.
