The Drow learned how to manipulate the Anima Mundi and all whom it connects to, granting them the power to  absorb a creature’s “Arcana”, the essence that connects their to soul to Celador. Make a ranged spell attack against a creature in range. On a hit, the target takes 3d12 psychic damage. You may instead choose to take the damage yourself, healing the target for the same amount.  

In addition, the hit target makes a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, it suffers 1 of the following effects for the duration of the spell:

Leech Ability: The creature has disadvantage on ability checks. You have advantage on ability checks. 

Leech Accuracy: The creature has disadvantage on attack rolls and spell attack rolls. You have advantage on attack rolls and spell attack rolls. 

Leech Defense: The creature has -2 AC, you gain +2 AC. 

Leech Ferocity: The creature deals 5 points less damage per attack. You deal 5 points more damage per attack. 

Leech Health: You gain hitpoints equal to the amount of psychic damage you dealt with this spell. 

Leech Magic: The creature has - 2 to hit with spell attack rolls and Spellcasting DC. You gain +2 to spell attack rolls and Spellcasting DC.

Leech Saving Throw: Choose an ability score. The target gets disadvantage on saving throws using that ability, and you get advantage on saving throws using that ability. 

Leech Speed: The target's movement speed is halved. Your movement speed is doubled.

Leech Stamina: The target gains one point of exhaustion. You lose one point of exhaustion. 

Extract Feature: You learn about 1 feat or unique ability the creature possesses.

Extract Knowledge: The creature must make a wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you uncover a truthful answer to a question the target knows.

Extract Proficiency: You become proficient with a skill, language, tool or weapon that the creature is proficient with. 

Extract Resistance: You learn about the creature's damage resistances and immunities.  

Extract Spell: The creature must make a wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you learn one spell they can cast. Within the next hour you can spend a spell slot to cast the spell.

Extract Traits: Determine the creature's ability scores. 

While concentrating on this spell, you can choose to target another creature with a bonus action. You must make another ranged spell attack, and the new target must make a charisma save. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 1st. You can also inflict an additional effect.
