This spell was designed with the homebrew sub-class for the sorcerer known as the Teleporter in mind

You rapidly teleport the target in place, leaving pieces of it behind each time.

The target takes 1d8 force damage on a failed Con Save. The damage increases when you reach certain levels. 2d8 at 5th, 3d8 at 11th and 4d8 at 17th
