Making physical contact with the garnet, point at a place you can see within range and cause a ball of fire
to explode out centered on that point. Each creature in a 50-foot-radius sphere centered on that point
must make a dexterity saving throw. A target takes 15d12 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much
on a successful one. If a creature is more than 5x their movement speed away from being outside of the
range of the blast, They automatically fail their saving throw. Alternatively, you can also attempt to think
of a place within range that you can't see but can visualize. You can cause the same effect to appear at
that place, as long as you are familiar with it (spent at least 15 minutes there). The fire spreads around
corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
every 10GP the garnet is worth over 1000GP adds 5ft to the explosion radius. So, for example, a garnet worth 50k
GP would create an explosion radius of 4.6 miles.
Pulling this much raw energy from the weave is taxing on your body. After casting this spell you lose a number
off of your strength total equal to one your hit dice and you have disadvantage on all strength, dexterity, and
constitution saving throws and checks until you finish a long rest.
It is unknown what happens when you push this spell to its limits since there aren't enough people in history who have
tried to experiment with it due to its expensive nature, But some of the greatest magical minds of the past have
hypothesized that it would eventually become too taxing on the body and kill the caster.
