You draw all of your strength and draw in the shadows around you, concentrating them along your blade and unleash all the concentrated power at once into a slash that tears the very dimensions asunder.
Make a ranged spell attack at any number of creatures in a straight line 100 ft long and 5 ft wide within range, making a separate spell attack roll for each creature. On a hit the creature takes 8d8 force damage, as their bodies are split between dimensions and reformed back together in an instant. On a critical, one of the target's limbs is removed and destroyed as it is scattered to the dimensions.
If a creature would die from this spell, it's body is split in two, and each piece is scattered to random dimensions in the multiverse. Only being able to be recovered by the wish spell.
The target gains no benefits from cover or being on the aetherial plane. The targets gain no benefits from the following spells; Blink, Leomund's Tiny Hut, Shield of Faith, Shield, Mage Armor, Blur, Temple of the Gods, Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, or any Wall spell(Wall of force, fire, light etc.).
The damage for this spell increases by 1d8 for each spell slot above 5th.
