Whispers of the Dead

Broken words or phrases from those beyond the grave, penetrate the mind of a creature within range. The target must make a wisdom saving throw, taking 1d8 psychic damage on a failed save or no damage on a success. Creatures who fail will hear either loved ones, or ones they wronged, depending on relation to caster. The spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
