A wall of swirling free-floating mirrors springs into existence at a point you can see within range. You can make the wall up to 30 feet long, 10 feet high, and 10 feet thick, the wall appears in any orientation you choose, as a horizontal or vertical barrier or at an angle; it is always free floating. The wall vanishes when the spell ends. The wall is considered difficult terrain unless a creature does not rely on sight to navigate, such as a creature with blindsight, or some other factor at Dungeon Master discretion. A creature has disadvantage on all ability checks that rely on sight while inside the wall.
When you cast this spell, choose one side of the wall to provide half cover to creatures outside of it away from the rest of the wall; creatures benefiting from this half cover can see and cast spells through the wall normally, with targets on the other side of the wall not benefiting from half cover.
On the other side of the wall, line of sight through it is lightly obscured, and creatures casting through it or inside of it must first make a Wisdom saving throw or their spell will be reflected back to the caster or centered on the caster (including Magic Missile). If they are not a valid target, such as being invisible while the spell requires a target within sight, the spell ends immediately. Dispel Magic cannot be reflected. Any spell conjured within the wall (such as Conjure Elemental or Mordenkainen's Sword) must succeed the same Wisdom saving throw, or else concentration on the spell is automatically broken. Spells with a target of self, touch, or melee spell attacks that have only one target, are not affected while within the wall.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the Wisdom saving throw DC increases for each spell slot used above 5th. Dispel Magic's ability check to dispel Wall of Mirrors is made at disadvantage.
