As you cast this spell, you use you control of water to create a 5-foot radius circle on the ground. When you finish casting, the water seeps into the floor and becomes a trap. This trap is nearly invisible. A creature needs to pass a successful Investigation check against your spell save DC to find it.
The trap triggers when a Small, Medium, or Large creature moves into the spell's radius. That creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or water shots up from the floor and creates 1ft sphere of water around the hands and feet of the character that triggered the trap. The balls of water then pull the trapped character to the floor in a prone position and binds them to the floor or what ever surface the trap was set on.
The creature can make a Dexterity saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Alternatively, the creature or someone else who can reach it can use an action to make an Arcana check against your spell save DC. On a success, the restrained effect ends. When the Spells ends the victim is left prone
After the trap is triggered, the spell ends when no creature is restrained by it.
