This spell was crafted by Annekke Silvertongue, an old Forlondian Archmage, some 300 years ago. Choose a willing creature you can see within 5 feet of you (you may target yourself) that has an Intelligence score of at least 3 and the ability to speak a language. You touch that target's forehead, designating them as the sender for the purposes of this spell, and open a telepathic line of communication to another creature you are familiar with for the duration of the spell. The sender and recipient must both be on the same plane of existence as you, and the sender must be familiar with the recipient for the communication to reach them (though the recipient need not be familiar with the sender).
The communication flows both ways, and both sender and recipient can hear and respond to each other. This spell does not bridge language barriers, as words spoken in through this spell are heard in the language they were originally spoken in. Spells such as tongues or comprehend languages that can bridge these barriers still work as intended for both sender and recipient.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you may choose either to extend the spell's duration by 10 minutes, or to add 2 additional targets to be recipients (who cannot hear any participant other than the sender, but the sender can hear all recipients) per level above 4th. The sender must be familiar to the new recipient targets.
