Animate Swords

Choose up to 4 longswords within range. As long as you do not remove them from the area, they become flying swords for the duration (see Monster Manual). You can command them to attack any intruders, to remain peaceful, or only to attack a certain type of creature, such as goblins or anyone not wearing a blue robe. If you cast this spell on the same swords once a week for a year, they remain flying swords indefinitely.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may choose 2 additional swords for each spell slot level above 3rd.
