You attempt to inhale a spell and expel it outwards with even more power. If you see a target within range cast a damaging spell that includes you in the effect or you are targeted in a damaging spell effect, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, you inhale the arcane energy of the spell and the spell fails. Within the next minute, you can then cast the spell previously attempted to be casted on you 1 level higher than what was previously casted and your concentration ends. On a failure, the target spell blows up in your face, taking a number of d6's worth of force damage equal to the target spell's level.
If a spell cannot be casted one level higher, then the spell is casted at the initial level. If a spell that you inhale is by default higher than any spell you can cast and you attempt to cast said spell, make a constitution saving throw. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a failure, you receive 1 point of exhaustion and this spell ends. On a success, you cast the spell regardless, but take a number of d6's worth of force damage equal to the number of spell levels above your maximum spellcasting level. Upcasting the spell by one does not account for a constitution saving throw if the spell you inhale is at your current max spellcasting level.
